Dance Arts at Daycare

  • How it works:

Miss Julie comes into the daycare for the first time at no charge. She gives the different age groups a free class. The kids go home with an information sheet explaining what we will do every week, the benefits to the student, and what they will learn. Once we have an interest of 8 or more, Miss Julie will come into the daycare, gather the kids that have signed up and off we go to a designated area. The class schedule, day and time, is set up by the daycare director and instructor. JBPAC takes care of all of the invoicing and communication with parents.

  • What we do:

We offer a combo class. The students will learn ballet, tap, and jazz, as well as musical theater. Cheer and Karate can be part of the program as well, if desired. Miss Julie brings in tap shoes for the students to use, music, fun, and knowledge. The students stretch, learn coordination, gain confidence, strength, balance, rhythm, acting, discipline, large and small muscle  memory, songs, and focus all in 45 minutes per week.

  • How it benefits your program:

Daycares have specific programs to offer students and their families for growth, comfort, protection, and exposure to a variety of opportunities for the students to learn. Dance Arts is simply an enhancement to any solid program.  We are typically asked to be part of programs daycares put on for the parents. Both directors and parents praise our work.

  • How it helps parents:

Parents work all day, yet realize the importance of their children being involved in activities that will train, hone, and build their students skills, coordination, and interest. The 2-5 year old age group is the perfect age to begin building physical skills while enhancing their creativity and focus. Our daycare parents are so thankful that their children can get this during their day and not have to run around after work.

  • How it helps students:

We have over 100 students that participate in our classes at daycares. The students are excited to have a break from their routine, they are excited to see Miss Julie, the confidence level in her students dramatically changes, the focus of her students improves, and they learn so much while having fun!

  • What other directors say about us:

  2. As the director of Southport Heights Day Care, our students look forward to Julie coming in, they have learned so many dances, songs, and a lot of coordination. Our families have thanked me for offering this as an enhancement to our program. –Gayle Anderson, 317-783-7716
